White Angel Hotel

The white angel has the best ski in and ski out that I have personally ever seen, you genuinely take your skis off at the door. Breakfast is also excellent, with a wide variety of options. The rooms are also lovely and modern, however slightly transparent shower in twin rooms can make it awkward for sharing with siblings! The ski hire has a limited variety and didn’t find the staff to be as helpful as the other ski hire shop I eventually went to in town, but still remains okay. There is a very useful shuttle to and from the town, however other hotels seem to have more regular shuttles. The spa facilities are lovely, however it does cost €20 pp for just the use of the pool/facilities which I would expect to be included in the price of the room. The hotel staff have been very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay at the white angel and would book again.

Good value for money if you book early in the season. Great location and breathtaking views. Staff is extremely helpful and agile. Lucio was the kindest and was always in a great mood. Maria was extremely attentive and gave us the best tips! Breakfast is okay, quite basic and not on the healthy side. The waiters are efficient and very friendly. Dinner was ok, small portions - you can get better value in town which is lovely with plenty of great restaurants. Communal areas lack coziness. The room is spacious, we could fit everything including our 2 large suitcases and a snowboard bag without feeling claustrophobic. The bed is very good, large and has a firm mattress. Linen could be slightly softer to the skin and the pillows could be more fluffy and comfortable. Shower is great but is a cubicle inside the room - we didn’t mind as we are a couple, but may be a bothersome to 2 friends sharing a room. The toilet is separated to the bedroom area and has bidet (plus for me!). This is the set up of our room which was standard. Cleanliness is 7 out of 10. Spa is ok. Should be free. This is a ski-in ski-out hotel via a red piste. But if you are a beginner, you could take the shuttle down to the lift. The ski rental shop has everything you need and is very practical inside the locker area which is directly connected to the piste. Car park is a lottery. We managed to get a spot, but if we didn’t, that would have been an issue. We went in December. It’s cold! Very cold. But so quiet. No queues for lifts and we had the slopes for ourselves most of the time.

Beautiful hotel, very clean rooms, comfy bed, friendly professional staff, excellent food, relaxing spa, and stunning views. Amazing. Thank you White Angel for a fabulous week. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Some reviews say staff were rude and unhelpful but that is not the case. There were some very rude guests there during our stay but the staff handled them with professionalism and digniry. The cleaners were so amazing and polite. They even vacated the lift and removed their cart, insisting we take it before them...contrary to the inaccurate review left by another guest!! Brilliant shuttle bus service - thanks guys, you were fab. We stayed in an amazing suite and loved every minute of our stay. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again. The spa bath in our room was sheer bliss after a days skiing. Oh, and the skiing was outstanding too. Like wow 🤩

Modern hotel on the slopes at Cervinia, great location with great views across the resort and of the Matterhorn (can see in pictures). The hotel is ski in and ski out, steep red both in and out so you need to be a fairly good skier. Otherwise they do have a shuttle van that takes you down to and back from the gondola. Staff are friendly, the rooms are modern, nice powerful shower (no bath tub in my room which I would have liked). We had the half board, decent selection at breakfast but nothing special. Dinner has a lot of choice and a big spread, but again nothing too special. The spa is awesome (see video) but I do think the hotel need to make it clearer that you have to book a time slot and pay an extra €25 per person. If you are a family of 4, that’s quite a lot of extra charges. Shuttle van that takes you down to town, really does need to operate until later at night. Last one is 11.15pm and if you miss that, it’s a hell of a walk back up to the hotel.

Wonderful hotel, unique position, beautiful structure withe magic spa, views, common spaces. Some concern on rooms, including suites, where bathrooms have no windows. Kind and super professional staff in the restaurant. BUT such hotel, with such budget cant, really cant provide the service we received from reception. They did not care of any request; simply no service only formal and polite replies without any interest in taking care of the hosts. And with the money spent is not acceptable. Food not adequate in quality. Will not come back. Service is fundamental for tourism experience.

Not sure where to start. Staff is really great and trying their best. Bar attendants are amazing. Front desk attempts to help. I think all these hard working people lack a manager and training to be even better. Here I am arriving with 2 kids skis and luggage and I have to carry all of it myself to a suite I am paying like $1500 a night?? Pool charge 25 euro a person just to enter and once you arrive you can’t walk because you need a booking? Booking for a pool?? After you paid $1500 a night? Breakfast till 10 o’clock but god forbid you arrive quarter to 10 you get attitude from waiters like its them not you are guests in this hotel. You stop an elevator and there is staff members in it ( not on obvious way to do anything) and loudly talking and they are not even thinking to let you in. Because they make people carry their own luggage thru some obstacles on the floor it’s incredibly noisy without any soundproofing so forget about any rest during the day. Great location for ski in/out, large rooms but sorry needs training and management which is completely lacking.

Where do I start… Being a hotel positioned on the slopes is great, however it doesn’t deserve the 4* It is noisy, you can hear doors banging, people walking with ski boots on top of your head. The most annoying and MISLEADING part is that on the website they do not mention the extra charge for the swimming pool, which is €35 for 2.5h -Ridiculous!!! Never seen such a ripoff anywhere!). Staff in the restaurant are confused, the manager( or so it seems, Marianna) seemed bothered that we asked her about our table( there was no communication from her part, we had disturbed her). The food is not nice, no way 4* , it is more like canteen food. Even the coffee is bad. It is a shame as we are in Italy and everything could be much better.

Very nice hotel right on the slopes. This place offers spacious rooms, a spa with a gorgeous view, an open pool, and restaurant with a menu that changes everyday. The ski lockers are conveniently located near the exit so all you have to do is slip on your skis and go. The people working at the front desk- especially Maria- went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. Shuttle service was quick and easy, Dimitri was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers complimentary breakfast, where you can get a variety of different foods. Hotel rooms were both clean and comfortable- making this a perfect place to stay. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning for sure.
